Fort Myers Beach Film Festival

Lights! Camera! Action!

Planning your beach escape on Fort Myers Beach in April has quite a few perks, but our favorite is the ability to attend one of Southwest Florida’s premier cultural events located just steps from your condo at Gulfview Manor. Yes, it’s that time of year—the Fort Myers Beach Film Festival returns!

The 11th Annual Fort Myers Beach Film Festival, held at the movie theater located just across the street from our property Beach Theater, returns for it’s 11th year from April 26-30, 2017.

Throughout the four-day festival, enjoy several film showings and workshops hosted by the filmmakers and actors themselves. Enjoy unique feature films, documentaries, short films, student films and local films, some of which have never been screened to the public. Also, keep an eye out for celebrity guests, there have been a number of A-list actors spotted at past film festivals.

Not a huge fan of sitting in the theater? We can understand, you are here for the sun and sand after all! The Fort Myers Beach Film Festival hosts all kinds of events with local flavor including a filmmaker dolphin cruise and free outdoor movie screenings on the sand that you and the kids are sure to love!

Tickets are under $10 for individual film screenings and workshops will cost approximately $30-$40. If you would like to attend all film festival events, attendees can purchase a VIP pass which includes the Friday workshop, all screenings and a festival t-shirt.

$7 per screening or $30 and $40 for the Friday and Saturday workshops, respectively. Or if you want attend all events, consider the $150 VIP pass which includes the Friday workshop, all screenings and a festival t-shirt. Both opening and closing ceremonies are free and open to the public.
